Annual State of the Webcomic Address
My fellow Smackjeevers, I missed Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms last time it premiered, and it's coming on after Spirited Away, so until this Miyazaki flick's over, I've got some stuff to say.
The forums were wacky today, due to some madman posting every which way, actually TRYING to piss people off...and it worked. I went to almost every topic he posted on that wasn't locked and yelled at him. That ticked a few people here off, I guess, and for the THIRD time, I aologize. I Just don't like assholes, is all. Anyway it's all cleaned up now, and we can get on with our lives.
Also, Kyo left me a seemingly un-angry comment, and I'm hoping there's no ill will toward me flying off the handle a bit when the longevity of my comic was put into question. I also implore any fans of the comic not to poke the matter with a flaming stick, so as to not make things worse. That hasn't happened yet, and probably won't, but better safe than sorry. But I'd still like to keep our little gentlemen's wager going. Nothing's on the line, so what's it gonna hurt? Nothing, that's what! On Halloween next year, if my comic is indeed "dead and rotting" I will humbly accept deafeat. If not...I'll make an unnecessarily huge deal about it and no one will ever forget I won the bet, ever. 'Cause that's how I roll. Nothing personal mind you, just how I roll.
This has been the annual State of the Webcomic Address, which I just thought up 2 minutes ago. Have a Happy New Year, and if you like Miyazaki cartoons and Hellboy, then turn to Cartoon Newtwork right now. Thank you, and goodnight.
